Vision Faculty of Economics and Business Jember University Becomes a Superior and Professional Faculty in Development of Economics, Management and Accounting in Indonesia

The vision is projected to be achieved by 2020

To further clarify the meaning of the vision formulation, then presented about the understanding of some keywords as follows.

  1. Be Superior, means Faculty of Economics and Business Jember University graduates have competitive ability in Economics, Management and Accounting, so FEB UNEJ is planned to implement quality learning process supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure to produce competent Human Resources at the level Regional, National, and Southeast Asia. Students are able to carve out achievements both at national and international levels. With these advantages, FEB-UNEJ is directed to be the leading educational institution in the implementation of education, research and community service.

  2. Professional, means Faculty of Economics and Business Jember University graduates master or qualified, loving and responsible in working in accordance with the field of science and expertise. To that end, the study program at FEB-UNEJ has developed a curriculum adapted to the needs of the labor market and refers to the professional association of the Association of Faculty of Economics and Business of Indonesia (AFEBI). In addition, based on the tracer study conducted, many FEB-UNEJ graduates work in accordance with their competence. This indicates that the curriculum in FEB-UNEJ is in accordance with the needs of the labor market.

Mission of Faculty of Economics and Business Jember University

Faculty of Economics and Business Jember University establishes the following missions:

  1. Implement transparent and accountable faculty governance;

  2. Implement and develop qualified academic and vocational education, entrepreneurial vision as well as national and international reputation;

  3. Developing economics studies, small and medium sized enterprises and public-oriented accounting through research and community service activities that are creative, innovative and environmentally sound;

  4. Developing cooperation network with stakeholders inside and outside the country;
